The 2026 New Zealand School’s Data Champions conference will take place towards the end of Term Two on Friday 3rd July (Last Day Term 2).
Hosted at St Andrew's College in Christchurch, the conference showcased the best practice happening right across New Zealand schools in using data to make better decisions to positively impact learner outcomes.
The 2026 Conference is being spearheaded by Mark Hooper, Sarah Exon and Jake Wills.
While we are staying true to our "by teachers, for teachers" roots, we’re opening the doors this year to a limited number of organisations that support schools with data. To keep things transparent, these sessions will be clearly marked on the program.
We’re looking for teachers from primary and secondary schools who are ready to share what works. We especially love hands-on workshops that let attendees "get their hands dirty."
Interested in sharing? Email Jake at jake@jpw.nz to discuss your ideas or fill it in on the registration form. If you’re representing a commercial product or service, there is a $100 registration fee, which we use to buy thank-you gifts for our volunteer teacher-presenters.
